Savings and Loan Cooperatives (SLCs) face increasing challenges arising from digitalization, changing member expectations, and the need for sustainable service management. Existing studies have examined digitalization, member welfare, trust, governance, and financial performance, but these dimensions are often discussed separately. This study develops a conceptual framework for the business ecosystem architecture of SLCs based on value co-creation. An Integrative Literature Review (ILR) was conducted to synthesize theoretical and empirical studies related to SLCs, business ecosystems, Business Ecosystem Architecture, Service-Dominant Logic, organizational readiness, digital capability, trust, member participation, and cooperative sustainability. The synthesis shows that Business Ecosystem Architecture can function as the main structural mechanism for organizing ecosystem boundaries, actors, roles, value propositions, and interactions. Organizational readiness provides the foundation, while digital capability supports ecosystem implementation. Trust strengthens relational interaction, and member participation facilitates value co-creation. The proposed framework establishes the relationship Organizational Readiness → Business Ecosystem Architecture → Value Co-Creation → Cooperative Sustainability. The framework provides a conceptual basis for developing adaptive, participatory, and sustainable SLCs and for future empirical research.
